Seiki Juku Karate Club

We are a small club serving the Wigan area providing a range of martial arts founded on Shotokan Karate, covering Ju Jitsu, Karate, Kobudo, and Self Defence from 6 to 88 years old.

Our philosophy

To provide martial arts training in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, developing character, self confidence and fitness.

We do not compete in sport karate but concentrate on developing each individual's skills in the club at their own pace and capability

Club History and Coaches  

We have been based in the Wigan area for over 27 years at several venues, 

We are affiliated to NTK Martial Arts Association and are members of FMA and  FEKO

Chief Instructor for the club is Bob Carruthers 6th Dan Shotokan and karate technical advisor for the NTK with over 35 years in martial arts.

Club Venues

 

Robin Park Sports Centre Wigan   every Friday juniors and seniors 7.00 - 8.00 pm

Parking at Robin Park on Match days.

A note to all our students that parking for the sports centre is reserved on the car park next to the Rugby ground just opposite to the entrance to the sports centre to ensure so you can park conveniently on match days. Allow a little extra time for your journey. The entrance is normally manned by 2 stewards  just tell them you are going to the sports hall and they will allow you to pass and park.
